Late check in here, very late. We have moved to the camp host site at our campground and we now don't have internet service untill I can get some one out to re-site our dish. Any way had a good week and am now down to 246.

Scores have been posted. Everything should be current up to this point. Verify that your score and percentage are correct. If there are problems, please PM me.

Also, (just so nobody thinks I'm cheating) my score went up because I was in the woods during both of the last two weeks. Both were overnighters in the Missouri Ozarks, but hey, that qualifies!

Keep it going fellas!

Well I still don't have internet at the campground. Anyway had a good week even with the rain. I have lost one more pound. From 246 to 245. Had a nice long walk on Sat. and this should be a good week. At least till the next hurricane hits.

Went Good. Sorry for the late check in, but internet has been acting weird for about the last month. It is just easier for me to do it at work. But diet and working out is good. I'm starting to train for a marathon, so I think I'm going to shift from weights to running.

Well here is another late check-in. I hope by next week end we will have our Hughes Net back up and running and I won't have to do this from the school. I had a average week. I am loosing inches from the waist but not to much weight. Taking some nice long walks. Am going on another one this afternoon but will put the old hiking boots on this time.

The Shores Lake Loop gave me a hell of a workout. Weight hasn't changed a great deal, but now that my schedule has calmed down, that is fixin' to change.

Well Jay I am also off the wagon. Haven't been able to walk like I would like. Between a pulled muscle in my back due to working with a chainsaw to a pulled achilles tendon I have had a bum week. Kudos to those that have stayed on track I will work on getting back this week.

May as well be off the wagon also, because I haven't been on here in a while. Kept to the diet and exercise (I'm training for the St. Louis Marathon), but I just forgot about reporting this week. Sorry, work has been rough.

Hey Willky, I can't very well penalize you for a late check-in when I haven't penalized anyone else so far! (And that ornery Ouachita Hiker is always late! Wink )

I should probably revise the rule to say:

Late check-ins won't count ONLY if I've already posted the scores for that week. That still keeps me from having to continually update the score all the time, and gives everyone a little cushion. (Since I don't usually post scores right away.) But be careful, because I could post them any time! Since this is how I've been doing it all along anyway, we'll just make it official.

So, out of fairness, and to maintain consistency, your score won't be docked. (Since I haven't already posted the scores.)

Trail Monkey will probably file a formal appeal with the Arkansas Backcountry Althletic Review Board since you guys are neck-and-neck, but my decision is final. This court is adjourned. You are dismissed.

Especially you Trail Monkey! tongue

Tom, I'm with you man. I haven't been motivating myself enough lately, I let my busyness get in the way. Next contest, I'm bringing it!

(Did I mention that the next contest is a pizza eating competition?) Cool

So is today the day to check in? I have done really well on my eating, and my Tae kwon do classes are great too. I weighed this morning and I weighed 218. So that is 2 pounds this week. I am glad that my clothes are fitting a lot better, but hopefully I will need to get new ones too.
