LINCOLN LAKE Empty LINCOLN LAKE

For the people in NW Ark. which is not many here, just north of Fayetteville is Lincoln Lake. It has many routes to climb. A mix of bolted and top roping. The routes range from 5.6 on up to 5.11+. There is also a nice trail being worked on for hiking and mountain biking if your into that. I believe low impact camping is permitted which gives a great oppurtunity for a weekend of fishing, climbing, and hiking.

Every time that I go fishing there, there is always a bunch of people climbing. The routes look pretty cool, and maybe some day will be able to try it. Snowsurfer, I think that I have gotten water from the small fall in your avatar, that is if it is around mile 4-5 of the Butterfield.

That is a cascade at Lost Valley near Boxley. It is usually not running but this was right after all the rain at the beginning of spring. I went back to lost valley a few weeks ago and it was an amazing dissapointment. The creek was completely dried up and the main waterfall was just a small trickle.

I have been to Lincoln Lake just one about 3 yrs back.... it is a great place for climbing. I enjoyed myself. We went in a pack of 6 and were tired by the end of the day.
