That's my plan. Weather is drier than earlier, but colder...

Ok.. update. Tenn Hiker looks like he and his son is out. Talked to Colt and he will be riding with me. So when is everyone else planning on showing? Think we would be better to camp on top of Mag. then car pool down to cove lake the next morning?

Burritto and I plan on driving down Wednesday after church, we will get there late and more than likely sleep in the truck. I like the idea of sleeping up top, and then driving down in the morning. The day time temps look great to me, and the night time temps will be great with my quilts and my son to keep me warm Smile

TM - I'd be at Mt. Magazine campground Wednesday afternoon around 4pm. Having some bad karma over here so not sure if I'll make it...

Uh oh.. well.. you would miss the greatest Trail Dog in HISTORY... my new lab puppy. Actually they are starting some forecast for sleet on Wed here. Sleet and or Rain would stop me. I don't like the ice. Snow I can handle.. No ice.

I am with you TM on the ice. Sleet and Rain would force Momma to make us stay home, but she is fine with snow. She even told me today to leave my truck here and take our van, that way Wednesday night Burritto and I can sleep in the back with the air mattress Smile. Google says that it is 110 miles or 2 hours from my house, so we will get there around 11pm. Where do I need to meet yall on Wenesday night?

Thats a good question P... I am not that familiar with Mt. Mag. I guess the campground on top. I would say go to Mt. Mag website and look at the map there. There seems to be a campground on the (I belive) south side of the mountain top. I dont know if phones will work up there but guessing they should. Not that far out of town. Just saw its 80% for rain sleet mix here for wed.

So, what's the pups name?

I hope he's going to be an outside dog. I lost some good TX BBQ to an inside lab last week (front paws on counter then jaws on BBQ).

Just talked to Rodger and we both agree that its to much of a wash out. Cutting it a little close and I rather be safe as NONE of us have ever done this trail. Talk to you guys later.

is anyone still planning on attending? I have never been here either, so Burritto and I may stay home as well, or do the Butterfield.
