Burritto and I are back! We had a good night last night and stayed really warm. I put him above me in his hammock, and then I insulated him from underneath. It rained a little from 5 to 7 this morning, and we stayed dry under his momma's 10X12 tarp. We met the guys this morning around 10, and by then we already had our pancakes and hiked a mile down the Lee Creek Trail. Burritto did well, except we had to go much slower than the guys. He trooped along the first 3 miles with the guys, but then I had to carryhim up the mountain. On the way down he did great, eating his slim jims all the way down. He told me that the slim jims made it where his feet didn't hurt. We meandered down the old horse trail and back to the truck, Burritto did great, and amazed me that he did 7 miles with only minor problems in one day. Now that hes had a bath, he is ready to go eat Burrittos Very Happy

You bet, my 3 year old was crying because he wanted to go to, but momma said no. I keep telling him that we can go farther when he gets older and stronger, because he was VERY happy to see the truck. I asked him if he wanted to rest up and hit the trail again, and he said "no, I want to go watch X-Men and eat burrittos" That's not his trail name for nothing.
