Introduction
to Pioneer Tools (What are they? Why are
they still important? Where are they
most needed/used?) – Bill Pell
Short demo film of
traditional tools in action (Juniper Wilderness, Florida)
Volunteering
with the Forest Service – Jim Zornes (with
PowerPoint) & Sharon Hose
Use of Tools
in the Wilderness – Bill Pell & Tom Ferguson
Crosscut saw
safety – Fred Strothers
Sharpening
Crosscut Saws – Dan Hendrix
Axe Safety –
Fred Strothers
Sharpening
