Tom.. I have thought about that pack and I keep a Molly pack here just in case I wanted to use it as such but I fear its still to heavy for me. There is a guy, if I can find his web page, that is working on a external that's made of Titanium. Pretty impressive. Hes working on it to do a AT thru hike. If I find it I will post it. Its not for sale to my knowledge though.
