Has anyone visited the East Fork Wilderness area north of Russellville? I have looked at it on topos and it looks like a nice area. Does anyone have anymore info...is it heavily wooded etc?

Without looking at the map, is that where the Womble trail is?

Wilky1,

The East Fork wilderness is about 25 miles north east of I:40 exit 81. Not a bad drive for me or you Conway folks. That cloramble of green briar vines it se to the river valley and the abundance of creeks I was thinking the area had probably heavily settled once upon a time. That why I was asking about the foliage in the area. If it is a bramble of green briar vines in old fields it wouldn't be a fun hike.

I don't guess I've ever been there. Sounds like it might be worth a look.
