Here's a shot of me and the family paddling the Buffalo River a couple of years ago. We paddled down then backpacked up the Buffalo River Trail back to the car with one night on the trail. Great trip!

I will keep it on my radar. If I can make it, I will probably pull some increased mileage the last few days and try to shorten the trip by 2 days, however, I am a weak maybe at this point. Later in the summer I will be able to review.

Until recently I hadn't considered doing a turnaround trip, where you canoe down and backpack back. It sounds like a great idea. I may need to do one of these this spring.

I love the water.....its just crystal clear!! Looks atleast like that from this picture. Where in Buffalo is this?
