Re: Hello All
I wanted to check in and say hi. Looks like I'm one of the older members here (62) but what the heck. I've been driving up to AR for years from the desolate Gulf Coast area around Houston. Ya'll sure have some pretty country to explore. My boots have touched mostly the tread of the OT but I've also sampled sections of the OHT and BRT. Did the ERL one spring too.
Anyway, looks like ya'll have a good group here. Looking forward to chit-chatting with ya.

Re: Hello All
Thanks, Clif. Yeah, I have some fond memories of Surfside too. Turns out, we met some beach-bunnies there who were from Angleton. But I digress.........

Re: Hello All
John,
Welcome to the board! I used to be the old guy, glad you took that over! I am 57. I live just below the southern ouachitas. In fact I am a campground host at a COE campground, Houshoebend, just below the Dierks lake Dam. I say this just in case you need a place to crash on the way to the Ouachitas or farther North. I also arrange work parts that help keep the Caney Creek Wilderness trails open. If you are interested in joining us just send me a PM.
