Devil's Den Nov. 6-7th
Since I see you guys on right now, I thought that I would let you know that I planon taking a group of boys to the Den next weekend if you all want to tag along. I will be parking by the National Forest and hiking down to Rock Hole Camp Friday, and then meandering on verious trails around and back up to the truck. Let me know!!!

Re: Devil's Den Nov. 6-7th
So my Church boys backed out on me, and today is a beautiful day here in the Northwest!!!!! 1 boy got sick, so they all decded towait on him.
I have been noticing a lot of new members signing up, and I think that this Spring we need to have another Clinic so that we can meet up and look at different gear.

Yeah, we'll just meet in the middle. That would be right about... Little Rock. Well how about that
Re: Devil's Den Nov. 6-7th
I actually had meeting in the middle written down in my first post, but I wanted to see interest first. My boy and I liked Toad Suck Park last time, but lets do it somewhere where we can get some hiking in!!! It will have to be this Spring, you guys can pick the spot, and I get to go somewhere new

I am game for wherever. Have not hiked anywhere up north yet, but I am hoping that will change by spring. What about that area with the cave in another thread that you guys where talking about mapping out?

I would sure like to get everyone together to do an overnighter on the Black Fork Mt. Trail sometime soon. I have always wanted to go there.

hahaha... you sound like me.. let me get the ERL out of the way this weekend and I have to check my sched. I am kind of booked through Feb but I do have a few free weekends in there, but I wanted to do a solo on the ERL one more time this year. Don't know if I will now but repost this next week or PM me just to remind me ok.

Re: Devil's Den Nov. 6-7th
I will bring it up in a couple of weeks in a new thread to remind you and see if any body else is interested. By the way, I was planning on doing the ERL this weekend with your group but a little thing like me and my wifes 17th anniversery happens to be the 14th. She wanted me to go but she and I are going on a day hike instead.

Re: Devil's Den Nov. 6-7th
I have wanted to do the ERL for months now, and nope, my wife had to go and get pregnant. That sure messed my hiking schedule up . She had contractions every 20 minutes last night, so hopefully she will have my new baby boy anytime now !!!!! I am thinking this March would be a good time to have a Backpacking/Tarp/Hammock/water treatment/stove building/whatever Clinic. We all have a lot to learn from each other, and besides it sure is fun to get together and sit around the campfire.

I could tell her that I was leaving today and she would not be upset at all but my wife holds the fort down when I leave to go hiking. We have two young teenagers and that is no easy task so I am gonna give her a weekend. I have been trying to get her out on the trail with me and she has agreed to go on a day hike so I will soon have another hiking partner. I hope you guys have a great weekend.
all manned up here (LOL), ED
