Welcome. Is that Thunder Canyon Falls on Cecil Cove Trail up at Earbie? If not it sure looks like it lol.

Re: Waterfall Pic
That is actually Slot Canyon Falls on Shop Creek (about 60 feet shorter than Thunder Canyon Falls). It is located on the other side of the Buffalo from the Erbie area, upstream a ways, near Camp Orr. It is a difficult waterfall to reach and even tougher to photograph - you have to climb up on a large boulder that is clogging the slot canyon in order to even see this waterfall and get this shot. It is a hairy trip in and out of this tight little canyon and not for the faint of heart. It is normally dry in the summertime but his image shows how much rain we've been getting this summer...

Re: Waterfall Pic
Thanks guys. Glad I found the place. Here is a pic of the canyon leading up to the falls with the boulder that clouddancer is referring to. I found out today that it's most likely on private property though. I'm going to try to contact the landowner.

Re: Waterfall Pic
So how do you get to Thunder Canyon Falls? Also, I heard there is a pretty large cave in that area. Anyone know how to get to it?
Thanks,

That's a cool pic. So, how far down CC trail before you turn off to get to Thunder Canyon?

Re: Waterfall Pic
If I remember correctly it's around the third crossing of CC from the Erbie trailhead.
