Stroke of Luck Empty Stroke of Luck

I was trying to decide if it would be worth the trouble to find a GG Whisper, or if I should just get a different pack all together. While I was talking with some people about the pros and cons of getting this pack, I had one offered to me for $30. Needless to say, I bought it. This pack, although very minimal, I am very impressed with it. The straps seem to fit me perfectly, but only a trail test will make me confident in this assumption. I packed it up, and was suprised by the amount of stuff it held. I packed a Thermarest Prolite 3 (short) in it to give the pack some support. Then in the middle of this cylinder I packed:

WM Highlight
Marmot lightweight Fleece pullover
UA L/S baselayer shirt
Coffee can woodburn stove
(w/ lighter, Ti spork, bandanna, 12oz can pot, supports, cotton ball fire starters)
First aid kit
Personal Items
(toothbrush, tooth paste, TP)
Headlamp
Tarptent Contrail
Water Treatment System
(AquaMira Frontier Filter, Katadyn MicroPur, 2 2+L Platys)
Smartwool Midweight Socks
(in the straps for padding/sleeping socks)

I think this was it, and it came to a little over 6lbs (I cannot remember the exact weight). All in all, a good pack that I cannot wait to get on the trail.

Sounds like a great kit, willky.
I just hope you can get out soon to try it out.
