Trees in the road? Empty Trees in the road?

Post by Clif Thu Jan 29, 2009 3:02 pm

Some posts on the ACC board say lots of roads thru the back country up Buffalo river way are full of down trees and limbs. Something to be ready for if plans up in the Ozark Nwest.

Trees in the road? Empty Re: Trees in the road?

As a band director I get messages from band directors across the state. One from northern AR said they are saying some places will be two to three weeks with out power. I know that after the last big ice storm that hit the Ouachitas some places were closed. Some for up to a year. So get ready some of your favorite hiking places may be unaccessable for quite some time. I will be checking around the Canney Creek Wildereness this weekend and I will report back to the board.
