I thought that everyone would find this of value. I have this set to open on the page dealing with Hanna Mountain, Buckeye Mountain is on the next page. This is a report from 1892 dealing with Mangnese and Iron ore mining. In fact Buckeye mountain used to be called Mangnese Mountain! You can do a search for any place in Arkansas at that time. I remember back in the 70's coming across old mining equipment but I had no idea as to the age of this equipment! I believe that all of that stuff is still out there! Note that the Walston claim is near the top of what is now the Buckeye Trail.
