Well, it would seem that everyone here has a new nickname for me so I figured it would fit in here better hahahaha. Actually they are calling me Scott and another guy spider monkeys, but hey I liked trail monkey better. Hey we should do a trip for all us er "Swingers" hahahaha kind of like Ed Speer is doing. Would be cool.

Owl:
That's priceless. Razz
Apparently, seekingfun is going through an identity crisis and is now choosing to swing with the hammock-hangers, not saying that there's anything wrong with that at all. He's just lost touch with the good 'ol terra firma , LOL!!!
BTW, trail monkey, I like the name change, for what it's worth. Smile

I think that trail monkey fits him just fine. And it is my fault that he found the wonderful joy of sleeping in a hammock while out on the trail. It is the most wonderful way to sleep while backpacking, however, I will say it is not for everyone. To each their own, and whatever works best for you Very Happy

I guess I am going to have to try one of these hammocks, since everyone else is getting in on the craze!

That's right, I do not sew, I make gear. I am glad that you picked the tarp that I had setup, because when I tried to set up the other one the other night, my wife had forgotten to sew on one of the tieout loops Smile. I fixed it with a pebble, and it worked fine, but now she has to sew on a loop. I found some woodland ripstop nylon and a OD green bugnet material at Hancock fabrics today, but to make a hammock out of it would have cost me $75. It would have looked cool though.

I am glad that the DIY bug has bitten you Monkey

The Hammock Bliss is only $59 so I guess thats something to say for that. I only wish I could take the net off but I think that once the bugs go bye bye I will use yours.. or one that I will my myself lol. Thanks Preacha
