Places to Hike (For Linda) Empty Places to Hike (For Linda)

Post by Jay Sun Aug 17, 2008 4:25 pm

I told Linda--whom I met at the Tarp Clinic--that I would look around and try to find some places to hike and camp near Memphis. I'm not familiar with the area, so I just looked around the net and posted some links for you Linda...I can't say whether or not any of the places are good or not, so if anyone has any feedback regarding these places (or additional places for her) please post here.

Anyway, here are a few places I found on GORP to get you started:

Near Memphis
Places to Hike (For Linda) Bullet_dSispey Wilderness
Places to Hike (For Linda) Bullet_dBig Hill Pond State Park
Places to Hike (For Linda) Bullet_dMeeman-Shelby State Park
Places to Hike (For Linda) Bullet_dNatchez Trace State Park
Places to Hike (For Linda) Bullet_dLand Between the Lakes

Hope this helps!

Hey Jay,

That would have been me you talked to but I know Linda would equally appreciate the suggestions. I'll check those out. We had a blast and learned so much from you guys at the Tarp and Hammock Clinic. Thanks for coming and sharing your knowledge and experience! Jennifer

Sorry Jennifer! I'm surprised I even remembered everyone's names; I'm terrible with names!

I'm so glad you guys came, and welcome to the site! Don't let these guys give you any trouble. Just jump in there and let 'em know what you think!
