Has anyone ever used OR's Advanced Bivy? I have one but I've only had it out one time (a couple of years ago). I can't remember if I liked it or not. Does gor-tex breath? Like I said, I can't remember, so if anyone has any experience, let me know.

Kyle:
I haven't used that particular one, but I do have this one by Cabela's and really like it.

It seems to be quite breathable and yet very water-resistent. I usually use it in conjunction with my tarp if I expect a lot of rain or am going to be out for several days in uncertain weather.

Is that shelter made out of gor-tex? This is the bivy sack that I have. It is a full shelter. I don't know if it'll be waterproof or just water resistant. Just wondering if anyone has ever used and enjoyed this shelter.
