Silnylon Tarps
My wife makes tarps, and other stuff for me. She use to sell them, and still will every now and then when she has time. I know that a lot of you use tarps, and I do, but always above my hammock . I hope that you enjoy, and that some of you will see how great they are, and lightwieght.
This is her 8X10 Sanctuary Cat tarp, it has three tieouts on each side and allows plenty of airflow when it is warmer.
Here is her 10X12 Cathedral Cat tarp, it has 4 tieouts on each side, and the ends can close. There is a lot of room underneath, and I have never gotten wet under this one, even during the torrential down pour that we got this March, while I was on the OHT.

Hey Dwight, those look nice man. I'm lucky to get my better half to make me a sandwich, let alone something like that!
If she gets interested in selling them again, feel free to post some more pictures and details in the Backcountry Trading Post Forums. (The "For Sale by Owner" one.)
Maybe someday (when we come up with one) we could sell those babies with an Arkansas Backcountry logo on them!

Re: Silnylon Tarps
The first time I tried it nearly killed me, and then I realized that in Arkansas there are plenty of trees and that I didn't have to worry about it .
Thanks a lot, they really do keep you dry without boxing you in all day. I usually use my trekking poles to hold up one side to make a porch out of it, great for veiwing.

Dwight:
Those are a couple of nice looking tarps. I would like to talk to you more about about a certain style of tarp. I'll get back with you soon.
Thanks again for posting the pics.
