Re: Little MO
Yes it is in the Southern Ouachitas. I tried to go back up into that area in early August (right before the heavy Aug. rains) and there was just to many people! I just turned around and came back to Albert Pike and ended up coming back home. They have been pounded with rain of late and am sure it is really rolling now.

Re: Little MO
nice im planning of checking the ouachitas out as soon as i can get some free time. I was also planning on heading back to the ozarks and hitting up some trails. Is the indian creek trail really that risky because i really want to check it out?

In a word casimir. YES it is. Actually I think its a little worst than some around make it. Its a bit technical if you ask me, but just my 2cents worth.

Re: Little MO
alright that really makes me want to do it even more, but thanks for letting me know how you feel about it. As i understand you can get to the trailhead from kyles landing on the buffalo national river, is that correct?

Re: Little MO
Yes.. you can also get to it from off 74 just after the turn off for Kyles but you kind of have to know where to turn off at. Its not marked and one of the land owners is kind of a ass up there, but there is not really anything he can do, but he tries.

Re: Little MO
Google Tim Ernst and buy his Buffalo River Hiking Trails book. It's only 15 bucks or so and has great descriptions of all the trails in this area, along with driving directions.
Re: Little MO
Here is contrubution to Little MO Fallas.
When you leave the parking turn right and about 1.5 miles on the right is this water fall.
This on is left about 2 miles on right.
