Logo?

Hey Jay... how about a logo that we can use for Tshirts and the like. Use someone like cafeepress.com and they will create the shirt and we can buy it direct. All you need is the logo(s). Any profit would go back to you... er.. help pay for the new camera/sleeping bags/tents and space program your going to send to me =)). Just a thought. I would love advertising this place.

I second the logo! Lets make it awesome. I have a friend that does graphic design and printing. We probably won't want to use him for the shirts and whatever else we do, but I know he'll help with a logo if we can get an idea for one.

Very cool idea guys!

I have photoshop, and I'm sure some of you guys do too, so what do you say we come up with some ideas and post them here, then we can kind of take ideas from each other and collaborate on a design we all like. What do you think?

May be cool to try to get everyone to post some kind of logo desgin. Take them all and pick out the best ones. Put them together. See what we can make. Course Jay would have the final say in it. lol.. don't that make you feel special Jay.... uh just call me special ed hahahahahahaha.

OK.. first try.. don't laugh to hard... very rough and thrown together. I wanted to be the first to post this and the first to use the AR flag. So now that we have that out of the way lets see some real logos.

Well I have not figured out using layers in elements 6 (yet) but I vote for a scenic pic with an Arkansas waterfall layerd in some how.

I am thinking something like putting "seriously out there" around an old A-Frame tent. Simple and easy. With the web address under the tent.

Any combonation of Nature pix, then add Text.

I don't like the colours but I like the second one's design elements. Maybe someone would suggest other colours. I have this in a PSP file, would be glad to send to anyone wanting it.

I see you're having a little problem with the web address spelling, try "Arkansas"not "Arkansaw". Is that some of that Mississippi education coming out? (Thank God for MS!)

Guess this is just me, but I'd like to see something simpler and more animated for the logo. I am horrible with graphic design, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. I'm just thinking about how well that would turn out on a shirt, and how long it would last with the detail of the middle pic after quite a few washes. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome, and I wish I had skills with graphic design. But I would like for this to be something we could put on shirts and other things pretty easily.

Kyle, I agree with you on the simplicity thing. If you have some ideas but you don't feel like you can put them to paper, try to describe them and maybe one of us could design something based off your concept. We're looking for ideas, not just pictures. Have at it man!
