This is completely off the subject but last night some wicked storm past through my neck of the woods. I actually woke my family up in the middle of the night and moved them into the bathroom in fear of a tornado. I woke up to howling wind and snapping tree limbs. The sound of hail pounding my rooftop. It was the most terrible storm I have seen since moving here. It didn't last long but it showed all the tell tale signs of very possible tornado approaching or spontaneously appearing. It has been a rough spring with wild weather. Gonna take some getting used to I suppose.

Things got plenty rough in your area of Arkansas, for sure. Apparently three people were killed in the storms.

Man, thats horrible, we have had some big ones up here in Bentonville this spring but this one was the worst by far. Isn't anybody getting this that this is the higher power telling us that society is going to s@#t and we better get out there and hike more and have fun to restore balance in this world or am I the only one. Statistcally storms are getting more frequent and more powerful.

This has been a bad spring, wet and very stormy. Every one should pay special head to weather
forcast before heading out. It has really limited my time out on the trails. Although I think we will
be able to go out for a overnighter this week end. Still worried about the water level in the streams.
