If you are interested in UK these are domain names that end in .uk. They are registered for 2 year period and it includes such extensions as .co.uk; .org.uk; .net.uk; .me.uk; they are all known as Country Code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) are country-specific domains. Registering a ccTLDs is important because some search engines crawls only on this and its language to the exclusion of other foreign ones.
